Hi John. I hope you had a good week. What do you mean by Redeemable shares. I have watched your lectures but I don’t understand it still. Does it mean it is repaid back to shareholders after a certain amount of time?
Redeemable means repayable.
So redeemable preference shares are repaid on a fixed date in the future.
Irredeemable (means not repayable) preference shares are never repaid.
Thanks so much John.
You are welcome 🙂
