I qualified with the ACCA accreditation in January , and currently live in SA.I have an undergrad accounting degree as well as an Honours degree. There are so many employment agencies that tell me that my qualification is not as good as CIMA or CA and that I need to consider studying something else like CIMA so that I can be recognised.
Is there anyone else in SA that has experienced this ?
Am I just working with the wrong agencies? Im starting to feel very despondent.

This might give you some clues which agencies are aware of ACCA.
In my opinion you need to use linkedin search as well, network etc.
