Hi John. I hope you’re well. I hope you can help me on the question 6.19. I have used your method and I get the answer 2007.24. The answer in the book is completely different.

Why do you say that the answer in the book is completely different?
The answer has done it the normal way and the answer is 4 cents different from your answer – that is a rounding difference and is irrelevant.
oh okay so is my answer correct ? As it says periodic weighted average cost , I was assuming there was another way to calculate it.
Yes, it is correct which is what I wrote before!!!
Nobody cares about 4 cents out of over $2,000 🙂
