Dear all,
I am a ACCA student and have recently started working in bank as Assistant Manager Credits. I want guidance about relevance of my job towards completing my PER. I have following duties and responsibilities while working as Assistant Manager Credits:
· Make sales calls and prepare credit proposals of clients for asset marketing.
· Submit requests to senior management and supporting documentation for accounts requiring credit lines
· Analyze financial statements, and business performance of fresh/existing clients.
· Evaluation of credit applications, with reference to risk factors:
o Financial analysis
o Financial structuring
o Credit evaluation and assessment
o Collateral
· Monthly/quarterly/annual revision of account exposure
· Manage existing relationships, keeping liaison with the customers for monitoring, repayments, and satisfactory conduct of the accounts.
· Responsible for preparing reports and standard statements / Ensures that monthly returns/reports are submitted to centralized Credit Office
· Responsible to ensure that costs are recovered in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
· Achieving credit control assessment targets / audit.
· Aftercare for all collections.
· Handling of daily transactions required to facilitate the clients’ routine operational activities.
· Provide support concerning banking initiatives, which enables higher management to make business decisions & to develop and review various related reports.
· Conducting financial, industrial and economic analysis for different segments of business.
· Cultivate relationships with high net worth clients.Your guidance and help in this regard will be highly helpful in completing my journey of becoming a ACCA member. I will highly appreciate the help.
