    Hello

In answering this question I would like some guidance please.

I answered by going into detail the power and interest of the different visitors such as the cyclist, dog walkers, hikers, villagers, volunteers etc. However in looking at the answer, I noticed that the various stakeholders were broadly categorized eg visitors , volunteers.

My question is how would I know that I shouldn’t go into that much detail. Also the answer didn’t specifically state the power and interest of each group as is usually done in questions involving stakeholders and Mendelow ‘s power vs interest grid.

I always advise that you should try to demonstrate knowledge about models rather than just make up a common sense answer. Here, I would try to categorise using the Mendelow matrix, but would certainly not explain the matrix.

ok, but how do I know if I should go into detail for each user eg hiker, dog walker, etc. as opposed to just grouping them as “users”?

You don’t know. You have to use your judgement taking into account the marks/time available, the requirements of fhe quesrion, the informarion in the question and to whom you are addressing the answer.
