Q2, Dec '10 - TMP
Drivers: Yours are fine. You could also add ecological concerns about the use of trees.
Barriers: Expertise: we have some, because of the young graduate but the question is a little ambiguous on this point. The lack of expertise could spill over into ensuring that transactions and customers' records are handled securely. The other two are fine.
thank u
Hi in this question b , why Tmp must adopt differential pricing and why does it need to be aware of Amazon?
Amazon is provided as real-life example of a powerful and successful e-trader and one that most students would be aware of. TMP. If TMP entered e-business Amazon is a competitor to be aware of.
E-business usually results in differential pricing. Often when we buy of the internet we expect the price to be lower than buying the same item in a shop. Indeed, some people try on items of clothing in a shop for fit, style etc, then go home and order the same items more cheaply over the internet!.
