If we do expenses on credit so will be recorded in Purchase daybook?

Yes, but we would use analysis columns (as we do in the cash book). The total column would be posted to payables and the analysis columns would be posted to the relevant expense accounts. However you obviously cannot be asked to write up a purchase day book in the exam.
