sir, if an item of ppe has been revalued once, before another new revaluation, what would the excess depreciation be. should it be the depreciation charged @ historic cost less new depreciation or should it be depreciation charged after 2nd revaluation less new depreciation

It will be in comparison to the initial depreciation charge when the asset was first acquired.
