    Dear Sir,

Concerning the Prodigal question I understand why they aportion it on a prorata basis becuase it was a six months acquisition. Thank you.

Can you please advise if there are any lectures that teaches and explain scenarios with the fair value @ acquistion and how one accounts for it I am bit poor at the aspect of skill.

    Thank you Sir.

I think that, if you were to look at the free course notes on this site, you would find within chapter 7 (or maybe it’s 8) a section on mid-year acquisitions

Check through that and then follow my lecture where I write on the screen the answer to chapter 9, Ausra and Danute

Then there are numerous past exam questions that I work though on the screen under the heading “Revision questions” – you’ll find that heading on the page “Home, ACCA, F7” and scroll down to the first list of contents on the left hand side of that page

And next time you have a problem where you feel your skill level is lower than comfortable, don’t leave asking your question until the weekend before the exam!
