    Sir i am studying process costing and i am clear with all areas except Valuing opening work in progress: FIFO method and Valuing opening work in progress: weighted average cost method this two areas are important or not.give me advised that two areas are important for exam.Thanks!

    You are not asked to value the opening work-in-progress. Questions have to tell you the value of the opening WIP.

    It is closing WIP that you are likely to have to value, and this is important for the exam.

    I assume that you have watched my free lectures on process costing? The lectures are a complete free course for Paper MA and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
