J and P are two joint products. joint costs- $35,000 joint costs are to apportion using sales value method product J: production 12,000kg sales 10,000kg selling price $5 per kg product P: production 8,000kg sales 9,000kg selling price $10 how much is the joint cost to be apportioned to product P?

There is no point in simply asking questions and wanting the answer. Presumably the book in which you found the question also has an answer. You should say where you have problems understanding the answer and then I will try and help. (If you do not have the answers because it is homework, then we are certainly not here to do your homework :-) ) Have you watched the free lectures on this?
