In P4 the chances of getting the same final answer as in the examiners answer are tiny!!

However the final answer is not what is getting the marks. The marks are for proving that you understand and that you are trying to do the right thing. They mark each part of your working separately.

So do not worry if you get stuck on one part of the question. Do what you can, make sure that your workings are clear, make assumptions where necessary (but state any assumptions you make).

Remember that the pass mark is 50%, and you are aiming to get at least 50% right on every question (not 100% right!)

Although the examiner has changed, the style of the paper and the way to attempt it has not changed.
