In one of the questions an employer paid 650 private medical insurance for his employee.
In the notes, £500 was exempt in relation to medical expenses.
I thought only 150 was taxable (650-500)
But in the answer 650 was taxable.
Medical insurance is not the same as medical expenses, just as car insurance is not the same as car servicing.
I thought so too that insurance is not the same as expenses related to medical. But then I still posted the question here so that I can be more clear.
