Preparation for P2 and P7 exam for Sept. 2016

EEunice10y ago
I am so discouraged with my performance marks because it is like I am just regressing instead of improving, I don't know what to fix, do I need to memorize previous question papers in order to pass or what, I thought I responded better to the extent that I would not have get less than 30% marks. Please guide me on how to prepare for September exams and keep me posted on the new development topics and exposure draft. Can I answer one previous question paper and post it for marking so that I can be able to identify how I do wrong please? Eagerly waiting for your response.

Eunice, there's no way that we will ever (never say never) be in a position to be able to accept and assess students' mock exams so I'm afraid that's a no-no, sorry As for where you're going wrong, here's what I wrote 10 minutes ago in response to a different post from another student. I believe that it may help to solve your problem Practice exam technique Practice time management Plan answers within the planning time allocation and then check your plans against the printed solution Did you make enough separate points Did you answer the question Did you plan as many points as there are marks available Have you read any of my posts to previous similar questions where I have given advice on how to move forward? Well, have you? Have you timed your handwriting to see just how much you can write in 1 minute 18 seconds? Because that’s the MAXIMUM length of any sentence that you write in the exam. The MAXIMUM Did you follow ANY exam technique tips at all in June?

Honestly I never applied those exam technique tips and knew non of them, I will try to do as you advised me now. Thank you for your respond Lecturer. How do I get documents for latest developments including exposure drafts for both P7 and P2?

Find out the reference number for the ED / Discussion Document and then put that into google When the list comes up, try to find the IASPLUS website for that ED / DD and there you'll find the up-to-date position OK?
