I’m 3 months pregnant and taking p2 and p3 in December, with my previous exams I’ve managed to do a couple of hours study after work each day as well as 4 or 5 hours each weekend day. However this time round is different as I’m at the stage of my pregnancy where I’m absolutely exhausted after work each day and can’t face studying I can barely read anything! I’m starting to worry that I’m behind where I should be. I have a week and a half off work for study leave before the exams but I’m worried that I’ll end up cramming and panicking. I know I only need 50 to pass but I’m just so worried I can’t get going properly. Anyone in the same sort of position? Any advice?
November 20, 2013 at 9:16 pm #147071Hi sazmaz ,,,I totally understand your situation ,,,I was 3 months pregnant when I sat for f5 and f6 exams,, I was working and had two of my children to take care of,,at first I thought I could get things done well,,but slowly started getting tired exhausted,,,in the end couldn’t study,,still I appeared for exams thinking I won’t let go I ll try,,,but I failed both papers,,I still regret why I pushed myself and you know stress is not good for pragnent women,,I feel that I was selfish with my baby and her health,,god forbid something else could have gone wrong,,I don’t regret I failed but I regret why I gave me n my baby a hard time,,I hope you understand ,,,there are things in life that are priceless,,,u decide what you have to do,,p2 requires practice ,,p3 is lengthy ,,,it’s either u take one exam n pass in it ,,u see which one you’re good at,,well p3 should be a good choice,,has no calculations u need to know the content well n apply by practicing exam kit,,past papers,,,you could also ask Acca if they can transfer the fee of the exam that you can’t take to next year June,,for that you could email them n provide them with a medical certificate,,,,well it’s all up to you,,remember don’t worry about the things you will get a second chance to get them done,,,good luck ,,
November 20, 2013 at 9:31 pm #147073Hi Sazmaz1, I am in the same situation but taking four papers in December. I’m still about 9weeks pregnant but always too tired to study that I honestly feel I’m going to fail my papers. All I can advise is just try and study what you can whenever you can, don’t push yourself because your health matters.
Wish you the best and hope you’ll cope with your exams. - AuthorPosts
