Potetntial questions from Business Finance
Of particular relevance for the F9 June 10 Exam could arguably be (1) Numeric - (a) Rights Issue calculations, (TERPS), Value of a right, changes in wealth of shareholder (b) Financial Analysis question on Gearing and Capital Structure (2) Theory - Sources of Finance - Debt & Equity + Government Schemes. Particularly relevant, I would expect, would be a discussion of suitable sources of SHORT TERM Finance for an SME - here you would need to discuss B/O, Creditors, Leasing (Finance v Operating Leasing), Debt Factoring, Invoice Discounting, Letters of Credit / Bills of Exchange, etc.,etc.,
This is an important syllabus area so you will also need to have a thorough understanding of suitable long term sources of Finance also (Debt + Equity )
Dividend Policy, of course, is a hugely important part of the syllabus also!
