What are the main benefits of PCAs?
1. improve decision making
2. more carefully researched projects
3. improve internal controls
4. highlights reasons for success
5. it helps managers learn from past mistakes

I agree that 5 could also be an important benefit. In fact 1 and 5 are linked: better decision making implies learning from past mistakes.
