Do we need to remember the dates of the Acts? Will we lose any marks if we mention only one name (Eg: Hadley's case) in a case? I've read the exam technique articles and I just wanted to be sure about this. Thank u.

yes, you're sure. The reason I wrote the article on exam technique was so that you would understand. The idea was not so that you would think I was lying to you. If I wrote it, I meant it!
thanks. I asked because I hear some people say otherwise. so I'm goin to learn 1 name from each case and I will not learn the date of acts. it will make things so much easier
I trust u but I was kinda' confused
Hi again
If you read the exam technique article again, you'll probably read that you don't need to remember even one name - just "the windmill case" or even "in a decided case"
This is NOT a test of your ability to argue a case in a Court as though you were a barrister. It's a test of your ability to recognise situations where you need to be recommending clients to take legal advice!
And, finally, if you want to listen to "some people" fair enough. But please don't have the gall to query my advice. You listen to them .... or you listen to me. But don't play one off against the other
