    Dear Sir,

Please can you provide me with 6 points on exach of the following questions below:

Describe the audit of performance information and how does it differ from performance auditing

How would you plan the audit of performance information and describe examination procedures to be used.

Decribe the fom and contents of a report on the audit of performance information.

describe the content of an audit conclusion on an integrated report of performance against objectives

planning an engagement to provide assurance on Integrated report with specifc measures and sustainability indicators.

I do not have any information in my text book, and have reseached the internet too. There are no acca articles either. Please can you kindly give me 6-7 points on the above areas.

    Thanks
    Valerie

    Valerie …..are you kidding me?

Am I expected to give you 30 points that you can memorise?

Come on! You’re a lady that has lived life long enough to get to the P level. You are an undergraduate of the university of life!

A LOT of auditing is common sense!

Just ask yourself, “What would I do”, “How could I verify this?”, “What steps should I take with reference to …..?”

I cannot sit here’s and write out a model answer, but I can try to persuade you to use your brain, your experience, your common sense.

Many students that I teach have NO auditing experience. (That’s probably an advantage, but trying to persuade them that it is is rather difficult)

But, for example, take off your auditing hat and say to yourself “How would I, with no auditing experience and having been asked to confirm something, set about it?”. And the power of common sense should take over and give you the answer.

Invoiced, records, meters, analytical procedures, last year’s file, discussions with directors, board minutes, the cash elements of the matter, management accounts, observation of activities, observations of media articles, …… the list is almost endless

Open your mind – forget the aspect of learning by rote “These are the points I could be making”

Think out of the box and let your imagination run free! BE INTUITIVE. BE A FREE THINKER! You’re old enough to be able to bring your life experiences (or experiences that you should have read about) into a professional, deep-thinking response

But please don’t expect me to come up with 30 points in answer to your 5 questions!
