Hi there, I am from Pakistan and I want to know if I can take test in Pakistan stream, so that i can use my knowledge while living in Pakistan, that is because UK tax is not relevant here and I find it difficult to find a job without knowing tax, income tax and sales tax and witholding tax, of Pakistan.
Kindly reply, if you know, and where can I find tuition and whether BPP or other publishers publish books for Pakistan Tax?
Jawad, unfortunately there isn’t Pakistan tax stream in ACCA at the moment. I understand what you’re saying. You may choose P4, P5 or P7 instead of P6. There’s one more option but you need to confirm it. After completing ACCA, you get exemptions from PIPFA but have to give one paper and that is tax. I know it’s a bit tough but if you really like P6, this option seems a bit reasonable to ‘me’. Tax wouldn’t be a trouble anymore for you, inshaAllah.
