General ACCAP7 before P2?

MMK10y ago
Hi, Was just wondering if anyone has sat P7 before P2. I understand that it is advisable to sit P2 first, but I wont have the time to study for P2 before September as it is a large syllabus so was thinking of sitting P7? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think that's a good move, do P7 September then P2 December. it is the only one that i would advise to do together since they have come in with the four sittings. however since you seem daunted by the size of the syllabus then doing P7 first then follow-up with P2 in December can only help because of the similarities of the two syllabus.

Cant do P7 before P2. You have to at least sign up and pay for the P2 exam at the same sitting as P7 provided you have cleared all F level papers.

@alkemist not true. "From September 2015 we are making changes to the Progression rule which will allow students to enter the Essentials and Options (P1-P7) papers in any order." - ACCA Global
