Dear Sir / Madam,
Is it necessary to quote relevant ISAs befitting to occasions in Answer Book ! Are they carry more worth in terms of extra mark if quoted rightly ! If answer to this is yes, Can we have list of ISAs – for important references at one place ! It would be like ready reckoner. kindly Advise

AT LAST! The P7 examiner has at last indicated that there are no marks for quoting ISA numbers. So, no, there is not to be a list from me – that would be a waste of my time and of yours!
Dear Sir,
Thanks for quick and crystal clear answer . With due regard to you ,are you really sure about it as ACCA solved answers make frequent references of ISAs. BPP Book says if you quote ISA – half mark is yours. This I am writing out of anxiety and tension, Kindly dont take it otherwise.

It is neceassary to refer ISA/IAS..as per emainer marking scheme it is stated that there is half mark for refernceng.
No, in the most recent texts from both Kaplan and BPP and in the examiners marking scheme for the june exam there is no reference to using the ISA numbers, you get 1/2 a mark generally for explaining what “should” be done via the ISA but no marks for naming it.

my tutor said you get 1/2 mark at least just by quoting the relevant accounting standards…and yes the ias numbers. learn them.
I am sure it makes a better impression on the marker though assuming the quoted IAS or ISA is relevant it is most likely to influence the marker into giving half a mark. After all the marker is human
