    Hi,

I am struggling to choose between P4 and P5, I did well (76 and 92 respectively) for the foundation papers but don’t know which one to choose. I found F9 easier to understand and study than F5 although my exam results don’t reflect that.

What is P5 like in terms of written/numbers? I am far better at calculations and I am probably better taking the paper which is more calculation based (if any!!)

I appreciate any advise you can give me on this.

    Thanks

    92% !!!! Well done. 76% also excellent.

P5 is about 1/3 numbers, 2/3 writing. The writing is often related to the numbers you are given or have calculated.

I’m afraid I’m not that familiar with P4 format. I know there are quite demanding calculations, but I don’t know the percentage of the exam that calculation makes up.

Ask this question again on the P4 forum, if you have not already done so, to get the view from there.
