Hi could you please adress the folowwing points:
1) How easy would you say it is to pass P4 at a first attempt if you are well prepared for it?
2) I have purchased the BPP online classroom and textbook with revision kit, would me relying on the open tutiion website be sufficent material to study from or would you advise to go through both sets of study notes and online lectures?
3) Are the lectures and the study notes on your site now ready to use, or are there likely to be any further changes before the March 2018 exam? Thanks
December 14, 2017 at 7:33 am #4231691. I would not regard any of the P level exams as being ‘easy’ to pass. However if you really are well-prepared then there is no reason for not being able to pass.
2. The more you read the better – especially attempting every question properly in your revision kit to get used to the style of the questions as well as the technical content. You should find my lectures helpful – especially those on CAPM and on exchange rate and interest rate risk management, which are both vitally important for the exam. Also, do watch my lectures working through a few question 1’s from past exams, because in these I discuss the approach as well as the content, and the approach to the questions is just as important.
3. I do hope to find time to re-record some of the lectures, but only to improve the quality not because of syllabus changes. There are no syllabus changes for the March 2018 exam.
