I plan to sit P2 in March and am unsure which paper to sit.
I do not plan to work as an auditor and will not sit P7.Has anyone experience of the P2 international variant ? and is it potentially a shorter syllabus than UK/Irish variants ?

I did INT variant and have no experience with other but I would like to add something else.
I have never worked in audit nor I intend to do in the future however I did sit the exam and passed it first time. I found P7 quite interesting and P2 helps soooo much for P7.
Although I had some luck with the exam as I sat in June 2015 when the global pass rate was quite high.
I wouldn’t cross out P7 just because you are not planning to be an auditor however I do appreciate that each of us has their own preferences and reasons to choose papers.
