P1 or P2 after F7

Paper P2 is a big step up from F7 but, you are correct, a sound knowledge of F7 is essential for success at P2 P1 is a whole lot of theory - very interesting, but still theory. It's actually a fascinating paper / study area, but you still have to face P2 sooner or later. Probably better to face it sooner
