“Which of following is NOT a right enjoyed by public company’s auditor?
The right to :
A – receive all information and explanations that the auditor deems necessary in pursuit of his enquiries.
B – access all books and records of the company
C – attend next annual general meeting AFTER the auditor was removed part way through the year
D – receive a copy of any proposed written resolutions.”
It says that D was the correct answer. But from the textbook of BPP, I see receive copy of any proposed written resolution listed as one of the rights of auditor.
Should the correct answer for this question be C?
Thank you,
But public companies cannot pass WRITTEN resolutions
And, no, the correct answer is definitely NOT option C
OK?
Thank you.
You’re very welcome
