    Hi

I’m interested in cbe exam of fa, this is my first test in Acca and I don’t know how the Acca test app, works is there any build-in calculator or notes to make, or I’m allowed to have my own calculator and papers on the exam in front of the camera.

works is there any build-in calculator — there is no any calculator there

or notes to make, – you can have 2 pieces of clean paper , you will need to show them that they’re clean

I’m allowed to have my own calculator – yes, you’re allowed to have your own calculator.

On you table you will have ONLY 2 pieces of paper, a pen, a calculator.
    That’s it

I attended a webcast from ACCA about a month or two ago dealing with remote exams. They said on that webcast that you can’t have any paper on your desk. If you need to do calculations during the exam, you had to use a piece of software called scatchpad which would be provided during the exam. A calculator is permitted.

There’s an FAQ on the ACCA website about remote exams. If you scroll down to the What equipment am I allowed to you use during the exam? question, they provide you with more information about what you’re allowed to have on your desk:

I haven’t watched any webcasts, but i’m telling from my own experience
I didn’t have anything like this during my exam “a piece of software called scatchpad which would be provided during the exam”
I had FA in January 2021 with Proctoro, and it was allowed to have 2 pieces of paper on the table.

Would you have physically attended a centre for your exam by any chance? ACCA have been clear about remote exams (check the link in my last post), paper isn’t allowed on your desk. So if your last exam was remote, the invigilator shouldn’t have let you have the paper on your desk.
