Hi,
I’m using the current BPP Study book and BPP Practice & Revision Kit which is valid until March 2020.
My question is, can i use an older practice kit too (for more practicing)?
Is there a way where could i see the syllabus changes from 2018 to 2019?Thanks in advance,
LorandJanuary 8, 2020 at 6:19 pm #557202Hi @loriszabo,
Well, the problem with the Tax paper is it’s syllabus not only changes but the Finance Act also changes. These changes result in tax rates, allowances etc being all together different from the previous years. And this can create a lot of confusion for the students. So it is best to get the latest practice kit, relevant to that specific Finance year.
But what I fail to understand is when you already have the latest one until March 2020, why do you want to practice from the old kit?
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help.I already purchased and used the current practice kit, I was just wondering if i could do twice as many exercises by using prior year kits too.
Kind regards,

LorandDon’t worry doing just the current practice kit will be more than enough. Trust me, when I was doing F6 I wasn’t able to complete the entire kit…had quite some section C questions remaining. But even then passed the exam. I strongly believe quality over quantity matters.
Also, the questions would be very much similar to the previous year’s kit but just updated for the current syllabus requirements.
If you can complete the entire kit, awesome! And when you do just repeat the questions. Repeat question practice works wonders as it helps you to identify weaknesses which you may have overlooked in the first attempt.
All the best for the exam!
