Where does other comprehensive income go ?does it go to retained earnings or other components of equity cz in some answers it has been taken to Retained earnings where there is no other comp of equity account in the SOFP.

12y ago#1It's my understanding that the elements of the Statement of Comprehensive Income should be reflected in the Statement of Changes in Equity within appropriate headings. I tend to be a bit lazy in the course notes so possibly show OCI items within Retained Earnings whereas in fact they should have their own headings within Statement of Changes.
Are you saying that the approved publishers are equally lazy or were you only referring to my course notes?
