Which of the following organisations would rely most heavily on value for money indicators and efficiency rather than information on performance and profitability?
(a)A small retailer
(b)A local authority
(c)A pension fund
(d)A private accountancy college
Answer is B
Is it the pension fund is the not for profit organisation? If no,what type of oraganisation is it?
How to measure the performance?Thank you 🙂
A pension fund has to generate income to pay pensions, but is not normally regarded as a profit seeking organisation.
I don’t think value for money has much meaning there. A fund’s success would be measuredm by capital gains and income generation.
