Dear tutor,
In the part a of this question we are requested to analyse the S and W of the primary activities of a value chain analysis. I have a few questions:
1. Inbound logistics
In the answer provided in BPP revision kit for the inbound logistic it is stated:
“At the Milton plant, inbound logistics are focused on getting the raw foodstuffs and empty unlabelled cans needed into the plant prior to the production of pet food. Milton appears to be paying competitive prices (15 cents per unit) for both raw foodstuffs and empty cans compared to the costs incurred by Competitors A, Band C. As a result Noble Pets’ procurement process can be regarded as a value chain strength.”
I would include this point under the heading Procurement in the supporting activities. How does it relate to inbound logistics?
2. Operations
Would it be acceptable to state: At the Milton plant only moist pet food is produced. This is a stength as less set -up costs occurs.Thank you.
Best regards

Your second point is fine.
