No new lectures - all the major areas are adequately covered Go through the videos and the mini exercises at the back of the course notes and then hours of mcq practice on top of consolidations, single entity financial statement preparation and interpretation with cash flows And of course work through the course notes chapters covering foreign exchange and disposals of subsidiaries

Right I see. Basically there are now more MCQs right? It was the adjustments I had trouble with but I will go through all this again as you have advised. These are new chapters in the notes (the new topics?). I'm not sure I remember those but I will compare all my printed notes to the new ones. However, if there are chapters that have been added please let me know? I will not be properly doing a comparison between the two sets of notes until the weekend so it would be good to already know what chapters to look out for. Thank you!

The only ones to change are the chapters on consolidated profit or loss statements (disposals of subsidiaries) and the chapter on revenue (IFRS 15 replacing IAS 11 and IAS 18) There is a new chapter (31) on foreign exchange

Hi Mike, I am going through your amended notes (i.e. September 2016 version), and I cannot see the answer to example 1 in chapter 30 (i.e. The effects of Changes in Foreign exchange rates - page 157). Could you please help me? Thanks a lot!

They were omitted when the notes were originally put up but I believe that they're there now Just check page 202
