Can ACCA assist with that or is there another better professional body?

There is management and business strategy content in ACCA. Unless someone is particularly interested in a career involving Accounting and Finance, I probably wouldn’t recommend undertaking this qualification as there is significant work involved and it is focussed on accounting, tax, audit and finance. Could you give any other details about your brother like his age group , work experience and other qualifications as it will impact advice I and others might give and therefore on the options of what he might want to consider.Hope this is of some help.

    Hi
    Thank you for the advice.
Yeah, I felt it a bit more of the accounting side for Business Admin.
He is 21 years old and hasn’t yet committed to any particular form of studies yet.

Perhaps a more general management qualification might be suitable. A diploma or degree in management or even a MBA might be more suitable as a starting point. Some courses exist that can largely be taken on a distance learning basis and in modular form. In this way he might get exposure to different parts of management such as marketing, strategy, human resource management as well as accounting and finance. After this he might decide to specialise in one of these areas. Hope this helps.
