Hi,
I was wondering which model would be most appropriate to assess the competative nature of a company’s exisiting market..
My thoughts are with Porters 5 forces as this assesses industry competativeness?
Is there any other model that would be beneficial here?

That would probably be my first choice. I say ‘probably’ because it can depend on the information in the question.
BCG might help if you were given the right information.
Cost leadership/differentiation can also be relevant as that can tell you about the basis of competition.
