TODAY is the deadline for submitting claims for consideration of mitigating circumstances in respect of the December 2020 exams.

The following is taken from here https://www.accaglobal.com/in/en/help/exam-sessions.html

“What happens if I have attended my examinations but it has been affected by illness or other factors?

ACCA recognises that there may be students who experience difficult circumstances, circumstances of this nature may include but not limited to:
    •Recent bereavement
•Severe illness prior to or during exam sitting
•Immediate care of a relative with a severe illness or circumstances
    •Technical issue

If this is the case for you and you feel the circumstance has affected your performance during your exam, please inform ACCA by submitting details of your mitigating circumstances via the Exams section of your MyACCA portal.

It is extremely important for you to provide any DOCUMENTARY evidence relating to your personal circumstances (where applicable), for consideration to be given. You may upload this with your Mitigating Circumstance submission via MyACCA.

Examples of documentary evidence may include but not limited to:
    •Medical letter or official certificate
    •Incident reports

Please note ACCA will also review internal information in relation to technical issues in order to understand issues that have impacted your exam.

You must submit your mitigating circumstances 22 December 2020 for consideration to be given.

Please note that unfortunately additional supporting evidence in relation to your mitigating circumstance will not be accepted for consideration after the above closing date.”
