I was slated to write the FR & PM exams yesterday and today. However, I tested positive for covid-19. Hence, I had to miss the exams.
Does anyone know what my options are.
I don’t want to be graded a fail
you can do the exam next week. go to ACCA, go to contact us. and one of the options is to resit next week
doyinol, hope you are feeling ok and get well soon if you are symptomatic. Please contact ACCA. Don’t know the exact nature of your situation. However, please keep documentation related to your condition so it can be presented to ACCA . They may offer you sitting at later exam diet. Hope this helps.
From the link in the post above:
“Centre based exam withdrawals will only be considered under the most extenuating circumstances, and where supported by documentary evidence; minor illnesses or normal expected workloads cannot be considered. Any supporting documents should be sent to students@accaglobal.com by 22 December 2021.”
Non-attendance is not a fail – and if you act on a timely basis you should be able to carry forward your exam fees to next session.
The option to sit next week is only obviously available for REMOTE invigilation – and NOT to sit at a centre. See here for contacting ACCA https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us
Thank you all for the helpful insights. I have applied for the remote exams. I hope i get feedback before the exam day
You are welcome.
