Hi John, Can tell me which cash flows constitute part of investment cash flows and which cash flows pertain to the recovery phase. Thanks.

It really depends on the question. However they do not try and trick you - in exam questions the first years are outflows (and that is the investment phase. The later years are the recovery phase.
