You need 50% over the whole exam (it does not have to be over 50% in each separate part).

It is enough to get high marks provided you do understand everything.
You do not need a Study Text although obviously the more reading the better.

You need to watch all of the free lectures in order, with the Lecture Notes in front of you. Don’t just watch – work through the examples with me as I do them in the lecture.

Go back through after each lecture and make sure that you really do understand. It is not simply learning the rules – 50% of the exam is writing (as opposed to calculations) and is checking that you really do understand what is happening.

You must have an up-to-date Revision Kit, and you must work through every question – trying them yourself before checking the answers, and learning from your mistakes. Make sure you pay attention to the written parts of questions – think about them rather than just simply reading the answers.

And start now!! The more you study, the more confident you can be of getting good marks.
