Also sir, why in case of Marginal revenue equation the slope or gradient is twice that of in Price function equation? Any specific reasons?

6y ago#1Have you not watched my free lectures on this? Because in the lectures I do show how the equation for the marginal revenue is derived. It requires knowledge of differentiation, but differentiation is specifically excluded from the syllabus which is why you are given the formula on the formula sheet in the exam. (I show how it is derived in my lectures because most students will know about differentiation from school, but again you are not required to know it for the exam.)
