Hi, just wondering if someone who has sat the FM exam can help? Is the FM specimen exam and practice exams on the Acca website similar to the actual exam in terms of the question asked and level of difficulty?
The March exam will be of a similar level of difficulty to those on the ACCA website.
The questions asked change a lot (and students at the same exam setting get different questions from each other) because the examiner is testing understanding and not simply the learning of rules (which is why only about 50% of the questions in the exam involve calculations).
The past exams on the ACCA website alone are not enough to practice. It is essential that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers because they contain all relevant past exam questions (not just the recent ones) and lots of other exam-standard questions for practice.
