The questions themselves were not too challenging. The problem was more with missing time. Fingers crossed for all of us <3

The governance and board question – new ceo suggestions etc. it did say he suggested the football director become the secretary didn’t he – some people in a group chat are talking about how a finance director can be a secretary…wondering who read it wrong? I didn’t think AT had a finance director
Hi, I thought it stated finance director but second guessing myself now?
I’m not sure what point they really wanted us to make re the company sec bit. I think the exhibit mentioned it was proposed the FD was also part of the strategic and audit committee, so I just wrote about along with being company sec, focus will be lost on specific role as overloaded with work and responsibility.
I do believe it was the football director he suggested taking on the comp sec role as they are a qualified accountant (AT doesn’t have a financial director), and then the suggestion of one of the functional directors being on the audit committee is not suitable as the audit committee should consist of 100% NEDs.
Maybe I misread, however there was definitely a Finance Director in AT (page 8 of pre seen).
Either way I’ve made a mistake because I said FD financial experience would make him suitable.. stupidly didn’t think audit committee needs 100% NEDs.. hopefully not too much of a loss in marks. Annoying!

What was everyone’s response to question on project cost, time and quality control?
I couldn’t think of what to write here just wrote about the time,cost and quality constraints. Time pressure to finish in 3 years, cost constant due to the funding issues and economic and political issues. Quality issues with trying to complete in 3 years and resource availablity. Definitely didn’t manage to write enough for 12 marks!
Question 2b and 2c I felt were over lapping and didn’t want to say the same things as I would have in part c
It was finance director you are right.
FD can be the secretary but I think it was an issue in this case as the FD would have had to split his time with a number of different roles and not focus on one role. Also being part of the committees wouldn’t be possible as he would not be independent.
For the time – I wrote about slippage and how they can use fast tracking or crashing to control slippage
For cost – I spoke about having a budget

Hi, can I get March 2024 exam tips for my revision. I want to know about standard of questions? Could you please send me the previous question papers. For the sake of my preparation.
Did anyone reference any models/martices? I feel like they didn’t hint at any so I didn’t reference any but its concerning! the only one I could think of was the 7 I’s for e-business at the end but there was so little information!
Its hard to prepare for this one I think! I just say practice practice practice questions! think outside the box about all possibilities and ALWAYS try to reference the material! Get to know the pre-seen really well so you don’t have to waste time with it in the exam 🙂 Write in full sentences, make your point, link it to the exhibits and explain in detail! Good luck!

Does anyone remember what were tasks 2b (sth about risks? and 2c)? sth about assessing the rumors? i left those requirements
Overall, the exam was the right level, but with time pressure, i was unable to attempt all, hopefully, i can pass.
Any other thoughts, please share, guys.

I had 20 minutes left of my exam and then the connection lost, so I have to sit another exam tomrrow 🙁
