pass 54 after numerous attempt! one more exam to go which will be AFM in September!
Feel extremely demotivated. Got 49 on my first attempt by briefly reading a textbook for a week. For the second attempt my preparation was similar and the result was 48. I knew that I had to put more effort into the third one, so I spent enormous amount of time for preparation – read the textbook + all the required technical articles, completed workbook and all the previous exams from the 2014 to 2020. I’ve never put so much effort into one exam, even for the CFA. The result is 56
58 in my fourth attempt (the only paper I couldn’t clear in one go) .. finally done with all the papers!
to the opentuition team, without your guidance I wouldn’t have understood how ACCA exams work (I had a 9 paper exemption) the videos and notes really helped me through the journey. Thank you so much!
38% gutted, because its the first exam I have come out of feeling confident. No idea where I went wrong, still have AFM to do and only have until next March to complete 🙁

Used BPP textbook & revision kit, did LOADS of past papers (timed), watched youtube lectures (e.g. Steve Willis) for guidance on technique for answering questions.
i feel you i failed with the same mark??? i really thought i nailed it because questions were standard and during my preparation i would compare my answers to kaplan’s and near the end there was basically no difference , aside from kaplan’s more advanced english. it’s so surprising I’m not even sad about it.
I passed – still shocked that I got that result. I was 100% sure I failed – my gut feeling was never that wrong. I didn’t pass twice when I had a toddler and pregnant with No 2 – I thought I might never pass. Now after a 2year break starting from scratch going through PM and APM lectures – I owe you everything…. many thanks.
