    I kept refresh myACCA page for Romote exam booking,but there is nothing changed, still showing “choose location”, no “at home” option

    I had an exam booked, but when I couldn’t book one earlier this morning i cancelled it to be able to re book the remote exam per the ACCA email, but now I still can’t see the book from home option for SBL.

    I also didn’t have a centre based exam booked but that shouldn’t be the issue surely? As they let us know that we could sit them from home so people didn’t book the centre based ones. It’s so frustrating Iv spent all morning trying book my exam on acca on my phone, my iPad, my work computer and my Mac wondering if it’s a software thing !

    I can’t book either. Was awake all night – tried booking at midnight, 2am, 3am, 5am, 7am, and still can’t now. Tried calling since 7:30am, and continuously busy/system error.
    I have to agree, I am so frustrated with ACCA. They cancelled my March and June exams last year, then one of my September exams, meaning they have already pushed back my end date by 9 months.
    I have 2 papers remaining, so am keen to get this done, and it seems to be exactly the same issues, every single time – do they not learn from their mistakes?

    I’ve had a terrible experience with ACCA throughout – I’ve been sent to Cardiff, Wales to do exams before (I’m based in South East England – 3-4 hour drive!) due to them messing up my exams on their end. No test centres in South East so continuously have to drive well over an hour to take one. ACCA is becoming completely inaccessible. It does beg the question, what on earth are we paying our annual subscription fee for?!!?

    I assume all studnets wants to book remote exams are calling ACCA and the line must be very busy. I tried many times without success.

    I didn’t booked any centre based exam previously, as I keep refreshing booking page, there is no ” at home” available.

    It would be glad to know how the booking goes for anyone who has not previously booked exam centre based CBE

    Why haven’t they explained there is a system error? a simple email letting us know it’ll be tomorrow instead would be a simple solution.

    ACCA communication, customer service and technical infrastructure is awful.

    write to ACCA, stating all your experience, regardless what ACCA react, we have to right to present outselves. I knew a student exam been messed up last september, she complained, got £20 as compensation, not much, but ACCA should hear students’ voice. I am going to write to ACCA about remote exam booking, anything I am not happy with ACCA, I write to ACCA. They need to know

    Looking on a different forum, it seems that a few people have managed to get through to the phone lines, but are told “we’re having difficulties, it will be going live at some point, sorry”… and aren’t told much else than that.
    As others have said, a simple email stating this, or some sort of communication would be good. Meanwhile on social media, ACCA are posting a tweet about “are your mistakes forgiven at work”!

    I’m sat here debating if I want to sit and exam in March, like will they be able to cope with everyone sitting exams in March when they can’t even cope with the booking of the exams! I really feel let down by ACCA at the moment they have no care or consideration for the mental health of their students the constant additional stress for the past 12 months is really not fair we don’t know if we are coming or going !

    I suspect it’s the issue with Pearson, all exam booking through Vue run by Pearson. ACCA is using their service, maybe it’s the reason ACCA can only say to students ” system error”, ACCA doen’s know what is going on with Pearson system.

    EVERYONE posting to this forum – I suggest DON’T inundate ACCA with calls – as it will not progress things any more quickly. I have alerted contacts of the need for information and will post here when I have it. If, in the meantime, anyone has success, please do post here.
