Management of Receivables

MMax7y ago
Hello There was a question in Dec 2012 that "Discuss the factors to be considered in formulating a trade receivables management policy" In its answer examiner discussed on Credit analysis, Credit control and Receivables collection There was another question in Dec 2010 that "Discuss the factors that should be considered in formulating working capital policy on the management of trade receivables" In its answer examiner discussed on The cost of financing trade credit, The terms of trade offered by competitors, The need for liquidity, The level of risk acceptable to the company and The expertise available within the company Are these both questions different or are these the same questions? Similarly can we write the same answer for both of these questions or do we have to write different answers for both of these questions as examiner has written differently?

Both questions were effectively asking for the same thing, and all the points in both of the examiners answers are valid (although obviously you are not expected to list all of the points made).
