Hi,
I have a similar question..The lecture notes and videos are merely for OT exams?
Will this not also apply to learning for the case study in terms of technique etc?
Im also taking the case study in Feb 2017.. will material come out soon?
Thanks!

Hi all,
I would advise all preparing for ICS exams to also use the past exams on CIMA Connect as part of your revision. Try to answer the questions without looking at the answers and compare your answers with the CIMA answers. You will be surprised how big your gap is to the correct CIMA answer. That way you will learn how to approach and answer the ICS exam questions. Try to understand the question and do not rush into answering the question. Not all questions require past knowledge from the objective exams, even when questions use familiar tems terms from text books. Sometimes all you need is robust relevant common sense and commercial knowledge to give a very good answer. Please do not regurgitate the CIMA text books in answering the ICS questions, you will not score points. Remember in ICS exams, your are playing the role of a Finance Manager etc and not of a student!!!! Do not regurgitate the CIMA text books!!
Good luck to me and all!

Hi -
You'll be pleased to know we've added some CIMA case-study resources to Opentuition.com.
Please see link below for video guidance and link to questions relating to the current case for all three CIMA levels.

Hi everyone,
I am planing to take management case study directly (first CIMA exam) as I am eligible to enter the masters getaway route. I graduated from university 4 years ago and not quite sure if I still have the skills and knowledge to pass the case study without studying the management modules. Is anyone in the same situation? Any suggestions are welcomed!thank you!
Hi all,
Decided to go with management gateway route but not registered with CIMA yet. A small clarification, whether we need registration as student to access all past management Case study pre-seen, model answers and examiner response. Got November 2016 from one web site.
contact me Katie, am also writing in February 2017. so dat we can share information

I entered through management gateway route , I am preparing for management case study exam for Feb 2018
I would like to know is it sufficient to watch video lecture of E2, P2, F2 to pass management case study exams, or its necessary to buy text book of E2, P2, F2
In my own opinion i believe that reading the text and combining with the videos will produce better result, Also doing alot of past exams.
Just registered for the gateway case study and will study E2,P2 & F2 in that order
hey
any one preparing for MCS FEB 2018?
I am planning to sit MCS in Feb 2018 but i am not aware about E2, P2 and F2.
I am eligible for master gateway but really need an expert advice
The MCS basically is based on E2, P2 and F2
you can check the vids and lecture notes here about those subjects
You should go through E2 P2 F2 theories and concepts definitely. If you are familiar with those, it will be easy for you. Will depend up on your Master degree. I think you completed ACCA as your profile says. So you will have a good knowledge about these subjects.
In my opinion , I think you should give more focus on E2 as these will be new subject to you.
MCS will be based on specific case study, but actually its application of these concepts into case study.
So for some questions , its also essential to explain those theories as it is as well as applications to case study. Those concepts may be already covered in your masters/ ACCA.
If you are entering through Masters Gateway Route, its better to have a good knowledge about these three subjects.
You should start studying with these theories and concepts .
