Hello, I am appearing for the exam next week, currently reviewing the study text and apparently I can’t memorize a lot of things in the study text. Working through the revision kit with only around 50-60% correct. It is important to memorize everything? And are there any tips to help pass this exam? I’ve passed PM and TX before, and I feel like this is harder than those both.

    Hi Asher

Whoever told you to work through a study text? Have you, in the past, upset or annoyed them?

There is ample material in the video lectures and course notes, together with hours and hours of relentless practice answering questions from a revision kit, to see you comfortably through the exam.

Put away that horrendous study text. Watch the videos one more time. Read the course notes 2 or 3 times (2 hours maximum simply to read through them) and then get exclusively stuck into a revision kit. Because you have only a few days to go I suggest that you attempt, say, every tenth question until you reach the end of the revision kit. Then start again going over the kit, again every tenth question (but starting with a different start point!)

When you come to a question where your answer doesn’t agree with the printed solution and you can’t understand why, post on the Ask ACCA Tutor Law forum and I shall get back to you.

Don’t be shy! Just ask, and I shall answer – hopefully within 24 hours.
