Hi John,
With regards to Formulating a liner programming equation (similar to example 7 in Chapter 9, I know this question will seem odd but what are the chances this may pop up? What do you think?
Only asking because if it were to come in the exam, it could be presented in various difficult ways mathematically and at the same time, not many marks so I was wondering if I should look into this further or not.
Thanks,
AnasNovember 26, 2018 at 11:13 am #486011It has been rarely asked in the exam, but it certainly could be asked (although it would be surprising if it were for many marks).
I don’t really know what you mean about being presented in various difficult ways – the only way the examiner could really make it more difficult is by you having to calculate the NPV’s to use in the first place (but this would really just make it more time-consuming rather than more difficult).

Thank you for your insight.
