Hello Fellow ACCA members
I have a query regarding letter of good standing. I am currently thinking of enrolling into ACCA pathways route for ICAEW membership through my FCCA. However, my sponsor informed me that I will have to get a letter of good standing from ACCA in order to proceed. My question is that as I was taken out of the register due to non-payment of my membership fee, will ACCA issue me a letter of good standing once I re-instate myself as FCCA? I have heard that ACCA does not issue a letter of good standing if you’ve lapsed on your membership payment fee.
Thanks in advance.

“You CANNOT download a Letter of Good Standing if there is an overdue balance on your account.
Joint Scheme Letters of Good Standing are available via your myACCA account as normal. The letter generated will be co-branded with the relevant joint scheme.
To download and print your Letter of Good Standing … [remainder not reproduced]”Regarding reinstatement https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/help/membership-b.html it says here:
“Members or affiliates who were removed from the register for non-payment of subscription fees
You must pay the CURRENT year’s subscription (£297), the REINSTATEMENT fee (£67) and any UNPAID sums (£???) owed at the time of removal. Those members with outstanding annual continuing professional development (CPD) declarations must also complete the declaration section on page 6 of the reinstatement form.”Perhaps I should caution you that ICAEW fees are substantially more than ACCA’s modest fees.
