Lay out of questions

Hi I have just completed June 2012 Jayne Cox Direct- quite a nice question. My only question with this is can we answer questions in P3 with bullet points and tables? Or shall we carry on the P1 professional layout and use headings? Thanks Jemma

It depends on what the questions asks for. If it wants a eport, you have to dress it up like that with To/From/Title/Date then have a short introduction followed by titles paragraphs. It could be fine to use bullet points within that eg a report on strengths and weaknesses could have a paragraph titles 'Strengths' holding a list of bullet points. The agrument isn't about bullet points as such ie whether you use a '?' or (a) or (i) etc. What they don't like is a bullet followed by only a couple of words because that does not explain enough. Tables can also be incorporated into a report eg a section detailing problems with marketing and how to overcome thos could have the porblems in one column and the cures in the next. If reports/memos are not asked for you don't need the headings but they can often help to signpost to the market what you are saying. Again, beware 1 or 2 word lists. HTH

That's good... It is easier to layout some questions with a table as it is clearer and easier to work with. Thanks for your response.
